So I think I mentioned this in the previous post, but we stayed in Wai'nae on Oahu, which is on the other side of the island from Waikiki. The beach our condo was on was not completely private, but almost. A little ways down was the city park, so there were people on the beach in the afternoon, but generally from about 9am to noon (when we spent most of our time in the water), we had it to ourselves. Honestly, it was so relaxing and just so darn beautiful! Just looking out at the horizon and seeing NOTHING but water, sky, and some palm trees in your peripheral vision... :) love it!
